The Beaches of Espoo: Kivenlahti
Kivenlahti Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Espoo. It is located in a peaceful area right next to residential buildings. The beach is also close to my heart, as I spent a month here working as a lifeguard in my distant Baywatch youth.
Kivenlahti Beach is one of the finest beaches in Espoo. There are apartment buildings right next to it, so you'll see swimmers in their bathrobes coming for their morning swim.
In the summer of 1997, I worked as a lifeguard at Kivenlahti Beach. I also weeded the area in front of these changing rooms, and carefully at that. Nettles did not bother swimmers that summer.
The beach promenade runs right next to the beach.
There are also fitness equipment available on the beach.
