Iso Vasikkasaari (in English freely translated Big Calf Island) is a wonderful outdoor island Espoo, just outside Matinkylä. In the island, there is one well-equipped beach and a few small ones..

These images are from August. The day was beautiful but cool, and "there was autumn in the air."

The beach is very well equipped. There are basic showers and toilets.

The beach faces east, so the sun heats more likely in the morning and in the afternoon.
