Svartvik beach is located in the middle of Kirkkonummi, in the western bay of Vitträsk.

I visited here with my children in August 2018. The summer was one of the warmest on record, and it felt unusual to have only about 23 degrees and even some clouds. The contrast of the sun, clouds, and blue sky was delightful.

There isn’t a proper sandy beach, but initially, the lake is shallow with a sandy bottom, perfect for wading. However, it gets deeper near the pier, making it unsuitable for small children.

There is a parking area or rather a widening on the side of the road for a few cars, so you can park within a few dozen meters of the beach.
