The Bergö Bird Tower is located in Suvisaaristo on top of a high cliff. The tower offers views far out to the sea.

To the southeast, there are many islands before the sea opens up.

To the west, you can see islands like Stora Herrö and Pentala.

Looking almost directly north. On the left, you can see the Suomenoja power plant, and in the center of the picture, the apartment buildings of Matinkylä.

The tower is not easy to build. It is quite a craftsmanship display.

You can reach the tower with dry feet. Paths paved with crushed stone have been built in the forest.

When I visited, a barrier prevented driving close to the tower. Since then, a small parking lot has been built, and the barrier has been moved behind it. You can also get quite close by bus, and for many, this is a nice bike ride away.
