Viewpoints in Espoo: Musslaxbergen
Musslaxbergen is a magnificent cliff and viewpoint in Kurttila, Espoo.
The views open to the west. Or in this picture, to the northwest.
There are also sea views available.
This is what it looks like when you arrive. It's quite a wow!
The viewpoint is on the edge of Musslaxbergen. A hundred meters inland, you are even higher, but the views don't open up.
There is also a remnant of a triangulation tower. I don't know if bombers were observed from here during the wars. I believe not.
The best, or at least the nicest, way to reach the viewpoint is to walk a few hundred meters from the Kurtinniityntie and Kurtinmäentaipale intersection area. Following the paths will lead you to the top of the cliff, and if it's evening, the viewpoint is on the edge of the cliff, where the sun is.
