The Beaches of Lohja: Hormajärvi

Hormajärvi swimming spot is located by a clear-water lake, a few kilometers north of Lohja city center.

The water is fresh. There is no sandy beach here, just a long pier.

The changing cabin is up in the forest.

You arrive at the beach down quite a slope. The lake is also deep.

• Amenities: Changing cabin, pier, and probably a portable toilet (I didn't check).
• Tips for swimmers: The beach faces north. This is a very deep swimming spot, suitable only for those who can swim. Not recommended for small children.
