The Beaches of Helsinki: Kivinokka

Welcome to Kivinokka in Helsinki. Behind the manor and Herttoniemi allotment garden, you'll find the peaceful yet idyllic Kivinokka beach - quite close to the center of Helsinki.

In terms of scenery, this beach could be called the most urban in Helsinki. Not because of its location, but because of the views from the beach.

I bet this beach will become even more popular soon. Mustikkamaa and Kivinokka are the closest beaches to the eastern city center, and new residents are moving in. It's about two and a half kilometers from the Kalasatama metro station to here, and a bit over a kilometer from the Herttoniemi metro station.

The closest summer cottages in Kivinokka are right next to it.

You can also play beach volleyball. Or change into swimsuits in the cabins in the background.
