The Beaches of Porvoo: Hasselholma

Hasselholm beach is located in Porvoo, on the shore of Veckjärvi. This popular beach has plenty of space and excellent services.

The beach is shallow, but you can jump from the "pier" visible in the background. I'm not sure what those floating piers are called.

There is also a playground and plenty of grass to relax on.

Hasselholm beach is quite remote. You get here by car via gravel roads. There usually aren't this many people. These photos are from the "surprise heat" in June 2020, and the beach was crowded.

The service building has a café, changing rooms, and clean toilets. There is also a sauna near the beach; when taking this photo, I was in its shadow. I don't know about the sauna's availability.
