The Beaches of Vihti: Kirkonkylä
Vihti Kirkonkylä Beach is located in Vihti, as its name suggests. The beach is situated behind a wooded hill in a sheltered cove. The beach deepens gradually, making it well-suited for families with children.
The beach is also known as Pappis Beach (or Pappila Beach), and according to Google Maps, it might also be called Haudankallio Beach. I can't confirm the latter.
Although the beach is not large, there is still plenty of room for swimmers. The pier is long, and the beach deepens moderately.
You could even exercise here if you wanted.
The beach is indeed located behind a considerable ridge.
