The Beaches of Helsinki: Pakila

Pakila beach is located along the Vantaa River. It's probably no surprise that it's in Pakila.

The beach is small, as if instead of sod, a piece of "portable beach" was brought in. By the way, the water is suddenly deep; the Vantaa River is not as shallow as the pictures might suggest.

There is also a sense of uniqueness here. The beach is probably steeper than any other beach in the metropolitan area. Doesn't this picture have the glamour of Hollywood's golden age?

Speaking of glamour, there is a furnished portable toilet, changing room, shower, and beach volleyball court.

Right next to it is the Pakila allotment garden. Together, they form a stylish ensemble.
