The Beaches of Helsinki: Suomenlinna

One of the most exotic beaches in Helsinki is located in Suomenlinna. It is a sheltered bay surrounded by a popular walking trail on the hill, as seen in the picture.

These photos are not mine, but by Miina Hagerlund. Thank you for that. My own photos of this beach are so many years old and taken with such a poor camera that they are not of much use.

There is also a changing room here (a good thing, given the stream of tourists passing by) and a shower.
