The Beaches of Porvoo: Kokonniemi

Kokonniemi outdoor pool is located right near the center of Porvoo. The sheltered sand pit has plenty of space and swimmers.

The beach also has a diving tower. The depth is said to be more than ten meters at its deepest, so hitting the bottom isn't easy.

There is a shallower area for children near the changing rooms.

Behind the changing room building, there is a children's playground and a beach volleyball court.

There are changing rooms on both sides of the outdoor pool. The ones in the south are more modest.

• Address: Jääkiekkotie, Porvoo. The parking lot is at the ice rink, 50 meters away.
• Services: Changing rooms, showers, toilets, kiosk, and beach volleyball court. Lifeguards are on duty in the summer.
