The Beaches of Turku: Ekvalla

The accessible Ekvalla Beach is located in Turku, by the sea in the Turku Archipelago.

The lifeguards' "tower". I myself was a lifeguard for one summer in Espoo at Kivenlahti Beach in my distant Baywatch youth in the 1990s.

An accessible beach means there is a ramp, so you can get into the sea even with a wheelchair if needed.

The changing rooms are also accessible.

There is plenty of space in the parking area.
Ekvalla Beach Information
- Address: Kakskerrantie 618, Turku.
- Services: Accessible changing rooms and pier, outhouses, beach volleyball court, and playground.
- Tips for swimmers: The water deepens gradually. The sun shines nicely, the beach is open and faces south, so shade is mostly hard to find.
