The Beaches of Helsinki: Kallahdenniemi
Kallahdenniemi beach is located in East Helsinki, in Vuosaari. The beach is part of the Kallahdenniemi outdoor area. You won't find a more exotic beach in the metropolitan area: beaches on both sides of the peninsula, and so shallow that it's definitely suitable for the youngest family members.
The Beaches of Helsinki: Eiranranta
Eiranranta is found amidst beautiful scenery in southern Helsinki. The beach is not official - meaning water quality is not measured and there are no toilets - but it is still a nice and well-maintained beach.

Myllylampi Beach is located in Nummela, Vihti. The beach is along the ring road (Hanko-Hyvinkää), a stone's throw from Turuntie. It takes about 20 minutes to drive here from Espoo center.

Varikkaa Beach is located at the end of Pääkslahti in Vihti. The beach is an EU-designated beach, meaning it has over a hundred visitors daily in the summer. This is due to the nearby Wellness Village and the camping area.

Itä-Hakkilan tekonurmi löytyy samannimisestä kaupunginosasta. Ollaan itäisessä Vantaassa, Hakunila on suoraan etelään.

Klaukkalan tekonurmi löytyy Nurmijärveltä, Klaukkalan koulun vierestä. Kentän ympärillä on myös muita liikuntamahdollisuuksia.

Kuusijärvi beach is in many ways one of the finest in the capital region. First of all, it's big. Secondly, it has cafeteria food, changing rooms, open water swimming and much more. Thirdly, there are clearly defined areas for children, like the one in front.

Yksi Helsingin yllättävimmistä näköalapaikoista löytyy Töölöstä. Temppeliaukiolla on kirkon lisäksi myös kallioita, ja kallioilta pääsee myös tähyämään kaukaisuuteen. Toki talojen välistä, mutta tähyämään silti.

Urali oli Åminnen kartanoon kuuluva työväenasunto. Työväki kävi töissä Kauklahden lasitehtaalla. Urali sijaitsi Kauklahdessa.

Teeluodon virkistysranta löytyy Lahdesta, Vesilahden rannalta, Ruoriniemen kärjestä. Alueella on useitakin paikkoja, josta voi pulahtaa uimaan. Tuo pelastusrengas paljastanee virallisen sijainnin.

Suopursunpuiston virkistysranta löytyy Lahdesta, keskustan läheltä Joutjärven rannalta.
